Tony Marks
Tony started his career in 1980 with British Telecommunications plc.  During his career at BT Tony was responsible for the project management of a series of high profile IT projects.  During this time he was involved in developing specifications for Europe’s largest non-defence IT project. This work led into an IT project management role across the UK and also a period lecturing at BT’s computer training centre.

In 1990 Tony joined Artemis International, a project management software and services company (now Artemis International Services Corporation) as a Business Consultant. He worked with a wide range of international organisations in the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction Sector including Shell and BP, advising on project management issues. During this period he also obtained an MBA in Systems and Project Management & Administration, achieving a Merit for his thesis on Software Project management.

In 1998, following a period with an Artemis partner working at Board level, Tony co-founded and became Chief Executive of The BusinessLab®.  BusinessLab led a series of learning-based research programmes including learning environments, corporate learning, e-learning and games-based learning involving international consortiums which included Microsoft, CISCO, IBM, Intel, Oracle, Sony, The University for Industry (Learn Direct), The Open University, St Andrews University and National and State level Government bodies.  In 2002 Tony sold his interests in the company and undertook an interim management position with News Corporation developing management development programmes based on a blended learning approach, whilst developing the business plan for 20|20.
Since co-founding 20|20 in early 2003 with Graham Chapman, Tony has been responsible for the development and delivery of project management development programmes at 20|20.  In addition to holding an MBA, Tony is a Fellow of The Association for Project Management (FAPM), an accredited Prince 2 Practitioner, and also lectures in Risk Management and Project Portfolio Management at The University of Aberdeen on their M.Sc. in Project Management.  Current assignments include programme development and delivery for the oil industry, government and NHS.
