Project Management Practitioners |
Successful Project Managers deploy skills in project definition, appraisal, planning, execution and completion. They also demonstrate effective people management, organisation, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills to complete their projects within cost, schedule, quality, safety and other parameters.
This course, which has been accredited by The Association for Project Management (APM) and The Project Management Institute (PMI) aims to provide a forum for Project Managers and members of project teams to gain exposure to Best Practice in Project Management in its broadest sense. Using the professional standard of the ‘Body of Knowledge’ as the basis for the programme topics, the topics are addressed by demonstrating best practices and applying these to a simulation project.
At the end of the programme delegates will be able to introduce and implement the best practice practical skills required by project management practitioners to successfully deliver their projects against measurable success criteria. The programme can be supplemented with an IPMA Level D or PMI PMP accreditation option (see page 8 for further details).
target audience This course is designed for project managers, project team members, other managers, and all those who would benefit from keeping up to date with best practices in project management. No previous experience is required.
