Risk Analysis and Management
The importance of risk management in projects can hardly be overstated. Awareness of risk has increased as high profile projects have been delivered late or over budget. This project-specific risk management workshop provides personnel with a solid understanding of project risk analysis and management and the practical application of these techniques to their own project.

Most project managers have a strong belief in their ability to deliver their projects on time and within budget. But what are the risks to the successful completion of your project in a complex stakeholder environment?  This course explains the principles of project risk management and provides you with the tools to use, maintain, and extend the functionality of your Risk Management approach relating to a specific project.

Topics include Risk Identification, Risk Exposure, Qualitative Risk Analysis, Quantitative Risk Analysis, Risk Mitigation and Reduction, Risk Opportunity Responses and Risk Documentation.  The course follows best practices from The Association for Project Management’s (APM) Project Risk Analysis Method (PRAM), The Project Management Institutes ‘Body of Knowledge’ and uses a real project to provide an opportunity to practice techniques.
