NHS PM Practitioners
Successful NHS project managers need to successfully deploy skills in project definition, appraisal, planning, execution and completion.  They also need to demonstrate effective people management, organisation, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills to complete their projects within cost, schedule, quality, safety and other parameters.

This course, which has been accredited by The Association for Project Management (APM), aims to provide a forum specifically for NHS Project Managers and members of NHS Project Teams to gain exposure to Best Practice in Project Management in its broadest sense. Using the professional standard of the ‘Body of Knowledge’ as the basis for the programme topics, the topics will be addressed by demonstrating best practices and applying these to an NHS simulation project with elements for service re-design and capital schemes.
At the end of the programme delegates will be able to introduce and implement the best practice practical skills required by project management practitioners to successfully deliver their projects against measurable success criteria.

target audience
This course is designed for NHS project managers, project teams members, other managers, and all those who would benefit from keeping up to date with best practices in project management.  No previous experience is required.
