After serving for ten years, he left the Royal Air Force and joined BAE Systems where he was involved in the Al Yamamah Project in Saudi Arabia. During the eleven years he spent on this important project, George became increasingly involved in the learning and development of Saudi technicians and managed a project team that developed a new system of training high school graduates that took them to full technician status in five years, and successfully integrated them into the military technician system. On leaving Saudi Arabia, George continued his work for BAE Systems and became involved various projects delivering training around the globe. George is also an APM Professional, achieving the APMP qualification.
