Successful projects have common attributes including; clear roles & responsibilities, SMART objectives and a clear scope definition, formal project initiation & a clear and agreed Project Management Plan, benefits realisation linked to the Business Case, an approvals process, good risk management, realistic project plans, effective project monitoring & control, an effective Project Board, formal change control & issue management, project closeout, benefits and dis-benefits review, a post project evaluation & lessons learned process.
These workshops, customised to suit the project at its current stage, aim to provide a structured approach for new projects to ensure that their project is initiated properly to provide the best possible chances of project success. The workshops are based around specific targeted needs and are designed to provide tangible outputs for ensuring project success. Whilst the precise outputs are agreed in advance, they typically include key elements of the project plan.
